Christmas Special 2016

A few selections of Christmas music for your enjoyment, including a guitar lesson.

First, one of my favorite young singers, Kate Davis, doing Blue Christmas with Post Modern Jukebox.

And now Elvis on the same tune. Take a look at the guitar he’s playing. I’m not sure of the model but my guess is a Gibson Super 400.

The Christmas Song was written by Mel Torme and first recorded by Nat King Cole. Here’s a nice jazz version for guitar.

Finally, we have Walter Rodrigues Jr., the guitarist in the above video, give a tutorial on how to play The Christmas Song.
